About The Position

Join our onsite team at the Sand Lake facility in Grand Prairie, TX, as a Light Industrial - Inventory/Materials Assistant. Play a critical part in supporting Integrated Supply Management operations, keeping inventory accurate, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving functions. This position offers hands-on experience in a dynamic warehouse environment with opportunities to expand your skills and advance your career in supply chain management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating forklifts and/or pallet stackers
• At least 3 years’ shipping/receiving and warehousing experience
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Proven teamwork and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with ability to drive a box truck (up to 26,000 lbs. GVW, 40 lb. lift gate)

Nice To Haves

• Experience packaging shipments to commercial/military standards
• Familiarity with calibration management and inventory management software
• Knowledge of U.S. Army supply operations
• Military background or prior experience driving a 24ft box truck with lift gate

Responsibilities

• Maintain precise records for material quantities, costs, and inventory transactions
• Perform shipping and receiving functions, including verifying and inspecting incoming materials
• Identify and reject defective assets, ensuring quality standards are met
• Prepare and update inventory records, reporting, and investigating stock discrepancies
• Requisition supplies as needed to support ongoing operations
• Support Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) tasks
• Operate forklifts, pallet stackers, and 24ft box trucks (non-CDL) as required
