About The Position
The Light Assembly Repair Clerk supports inbound receiving and outbound order processing at the Spirit Distribution Center. The role involves handling deliveries and product receipts, preparing and routing shipments, picking and packing orders, and processing transactions in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or through DMS, wrist units, or computers. The position coordinates with internal customer service representatives and management and follows established procedures and standards. The schedule is Friday through Monday, 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The posting lists compensation of $20.50 per hour, with a $1.75 weekend second-shift differential. It also states an expected base pay range of $20.50–$20.50 annually.
Responsibilities
- Follow established parameters for receiving, picking, and cross-dock areas.
- Sort and prepare deliveries arriving at the distribution center and route them to the correct destination.
- Receive and process incoming deliveries, stocking items correctly according to system locations and parameters.
- Pick and pack orders according to work orders and instructions.
- Process orders accurately and promptly in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Maintain integrity when processing orders in the WMS.
- Safeguard computer equipment and customer parts in the employee’s possession.
- Handle and process orders accurately and within established timeframes.
- Prepare and process orders or waves promptly.
- Notify a lead or supervisor of operational problems.
- Maintain the cleanliness standards for the warehouse and job-function areas using 5S practices.
