Swing Shift Lift Operator
About The Position
Vintners Logistics LLC is seeking a Warehouse Forklift Operator for its warehouse team in Kennewick, Washington. The company provides third-party logistics services for wine and food goods storage. The operator will safely and efficiently move, load, unload, and hand-pick pallets of wine, food, and packaging, supporting product flow, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. This position is specifically for swing-shift hours. Overtime is required and seasonally mandated; candidates must be able to work overtime. Duties also include sanitizing incoming trailers during harvest and bin washing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Demonstrated experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to following safety procedures.
- Ability to work swing-shift hours and required overtime, including seasonally mandated overtime.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas according to proper handling procedures.
- Move pallets and other materials to designated storage locations using a forklift.
- Build customer orders and pallets from customer-created pick tickets.
- Inspect the forklift regularly and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Sanitize incoming trailers during harvest.
- Wash bins.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to support smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
