This role teaches and directs up to 80 staff in proper lift operations techniques, emphasizing safety, guest satisfaction, and Schweitzer regulations. The position involves scheduling crew members, breaking Lift Operators and stations, providing communication between departments, and assisting with training and documentation for all staff. The Lift Operations Rover/Trainer is responsible for ANSI compliance, lift station professionalism, break rotations, skill assessment, and supporting managers in safe daily operations. Additionally, this role assists with scheduling, budget adherence, radio coordination with mountain operations, ticket validations, and maintaining lift ramps and mazes. Secondary responsibilities include shoveling snow, physically assisting guests, and possessing extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events. Employees may work alone for up to two hours at a time.
