Position Summary:
Safety is the primary focus of this position. Responsible for assisting guests on and off chairlifts and maintaining snow surface for the guest’s safety. This position requires a high level of guest interaction.

Requirements

• English reading, writing and communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Able to stand outside in all weather conditions and temperatures.
• Able to assist guests stand up with possibility of lifting 50+ pounds.
• Good communication skills required.
• Guest service skills.
• Team spirit attitude.
• Minimum age: 18.

Nice To Haves

• Previous skiing or snowboarding experience.
• Skiing or snowboarding background.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests on and off chairlifts.
• Maintain snow surface for guest safety.
• Maintain lift ramp and snow removal.
• Physically lift/assist children and handicapped skiers onto chairlifts.
• Maintain radio coordination with other mountain operations departments.
• Assist with ticket validations.
• Shovel snow.
• Have extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain Resort facilities and events.
• Other duties as assigned.
