About The Position

The Lifestyle Coordinator is responsible for planning and organizing social events as well as assisting with activities and recreation programming for the community. This position performs administrative and customer service-related functions. Tuesday - Saturday 8 am to 5 pm with comp time as needed for late night events.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in events and administration.
  • Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet.
  • Ability to work with basic office equipment & phone systems.
  • Communicates clearly & professionally.
  • Contributes to a positive internal & external customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of event planning, implementation and follow up, including: Establishing an annual calendar of social events; Communicating event dates, times, locations; Hiring vendors/volunteers; Opening/Closing recreational center for each event; Decorates or forms a committee to decorate for events and holidays.
  • Develops and manages event and activity budget. Reconciles class, event, and rental income.
  • Manages and oversees community groups and volunteers.
  • Oversee website maintenance. Prepare the community newsletter and event fliers as needed.
  • Assist with facilitating, scheduling and coordinating community programming.
  • Coordinate, train, schedule, and manage event staff for community, events, rentals, and recreation programs.
  • Required to work events and recreation programs. Includes working nights, holidays and weekends.
  • Assists Lifestyle Manager with reports and Board of Directors meetings. Back up to the Lifestyle Administrator as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
