The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences by providing attentive beverage service and serving as a host of the bar space. The role involves staying aware of emerging trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs; maintaining the bar’s appearance and functionality; and taking ownership of guest service beyond the bar itself. Bartenders build relationships with hotel colleagues and the local community to anticipate and meet guest needs. They are expected to demonstrate attention to detail in handling money, sharing information with guests, and preparing quality drinks. Bartenders help maintain a safe workplace, follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and present a professional uniform and appearance. The role requires extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and hands-on physical work, including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. It also involves reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable duties may be assigned.
