About The Position

The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences by combining beverage expertise with attentive, broad guest service. The role involves keeping the bar attractive and operating flawlessly, staying alert to new trends, local offerings, and guests’ changing needs, and building relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and meet guest needs. Bartenders are expected to bring passion for service and attention to detail, including accuracy with money, information shared with guests, and drink quality. The position also requires following company policies and procedures, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, creating a safe workplace, and maintaining a professional uniform and appearance. Bartenders perform other reasonable job duties as requested. The work involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and hands-on physical tasks, including handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, reaching above and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Requirements

At least 1 year of related work experience.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, and to bend, twist, pull, and stoop.

Nice To Haves

No supervisory experience is required.

Create memorable and unique guest experiences through beverage service and hospitality.
Stay current with new trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ evolving needs.
Take ownership of guest service beyond the bar and do what is needed to meet guest needs.
Use beverage knowledge and expertise to keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly.
Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
Pay close attention to money handling, information provided to guests, and drink quality.
Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and help create a safe workplace.
Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
