The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable, unique guest experiences through beverage service and broader hospitality. The role requires familiarity with foundational bartending practices and attentiveness to emerging trends, micro-local offerings, and guests’ changing needs. Bartenders serve as hosts of the space, take ownership of guest service beyond the bar, and maintain a bar that looks and functions flawlessly. They build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and meet guest needs, while paying close attention to service, financial transactions, information shared with guests, and drink quality. The position also requires following company policies and procedures, helping maintain a safe workplace, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, and presenting a professional appearance. Bartenders spend extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and perform hands-on tasks, including handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. They may perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
