About The Position

The Lifestyle Bartender creates memorable and unique guest experiences by preparing drinks, following new trends and local offerings, and responding to guests’ evolving needs. The role also serves as host of the bar space and takes broader ownership of guest service, handling other reasonable duties as needed. Bartenders use their knowledge to keep the bar looking and functioning flawlessly, build relationships across the hotel and community, and anticipate and deliver on guests’ needs. The position requires attention to detail in handling money, providing information, and ensuring drink quality, along with a professional appearance and adherence to company policies, confidentiality, asset protection, and workplace safety.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No license or certification required.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Act as host of the bar space and take ownership of guest service beyond the bar itself.
• Maintain the bar’s appearance and ensure it functions flawlessly.
• Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
• Handle money accurately, provide information to guests, and maintain drink quality.
• Follow company policies and procedures, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and support a safe workplace.
• Maintain a professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
