About The Position

The Lifestyle Bartender crafts high-quality beverages and creates engaging, personalized guest experiences at Pearl Beach, a poolside dining destination at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami. The role calls for expert beverage knowledge, thoughtful recommendations tailored to guest preferences, and attentive service that supports the broader guest experience.

The bartender maintains a polished, organized, service-ready bar; stays current on beverage trends, local offerings, and guest preferences; and accurately handles payments and guest information. The position also requires following company policies, procedures, safety practices, and standards, protecting company assets and confidential information, and representing the hotel professionally. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance; reaching overhead and below the knees; and bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is listed as a preferred qualification.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees.
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop.

• Take ownership of the guest experience, stepping beyond the bar when needed to support guests and the team.
• Use beverage knowledge and judgment to make thoughtful recommendations based on individual guest preferences.
• Maintain close attention to drink quality and presentation, financial transactions, and guest information.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety practices, and standards while protecting company assets and confidential information.
• Maintain a professional appearance and consistently represent the standards of the hotel.
