About The Position
The Lifeguard oversees the safety of swimmers and others in the aquatic area at the Alliance Family YMCA. The role includes attending mandatory in-service trainings and staying rescue-ready throughout each shift. Various early morning and daytime/early-afternoon shifts are available. Starting wage is $12.00, commensurate with experience. Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of age.
- Current YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguarding certification.
- Current BLS (CPR) and First Aid certification.
- If not certified, willingness to be trained.
- Positive attitude and ability to be a team player.
Responsibilities
