About The Position

Odd Bunch is seeking a Lifecycle Marketing Specialist (Email) to enhance and scale their lifecycle marketing program. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for an individual with a keen eye for detail. The specialist will be responsible for building, QA'ing, scheduling, and optimizing emails within Klaviyo, covering campaigns, flows, and segments, while continuously exploring new strategies. The role involves both operational tasks, such as building emails and segmentation, and strategic/analytical work, like identifying trends, analyzing performance, and implementing improvements. This position offers significant ownership, mentorship, and the opportunity to gain lifecycle marketing experience in a fast-paced, impact-driven startup environment.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in email marketing, CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, including campaigns, segments, and flows.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in QA and campaign setup.
  • Solid understanding of segmentation and audience logic.
  • Comfortable writing and editing email copy.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, thoughtful, and comfortable asking questions, noticing patterns, and suggesting ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Build and launch campaigns in Klaviyo using existing templates and brand guidelines.
  • Perform end-to-end quality assurance (QA) for all emails before sending, checking links, formatting, dynamic content, segments, timing, and mobile compatibility.
  • Develop copy ideas based on established strategies and email cadences, to be handed off to the design team.
  • Coordinate with design and lifecycle teams to meet weekly deadlines.
  • Execute daily email marketing activities, including campaign setup, scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment.
  • Maintain existing segments to ensure accurate audience targeting.
  • Edit and maintain existing lifecycle flows (e.g., welcome, post-purchase, abandoned checkout).
  • Build new segments based on best practices and propose potential segments and audiences.
  • Lead A/B testing initiatives for subject lines, creative, messaging, and timing.
  • Monitor email performance daily, identifying and flagging outliers or areas of concern.
  • Analyze performance data to identify patterns, dips, and opportunities, and implement strategic and creative ideas for improvement.
  • Document processes and continuously iterate on workflows to enhance efficiency.
