About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Life Enrichment Manager creates personalized Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss. The role supports residents’ quality of life by fostering purpose, familiarity, connection, and dignity through structured, resident-centered programming. The manager develops and implements activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and cognitive needs, and encourages team members and volunteers to support resident engagement.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Age 18 or older.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to residents’ cognitive abilities.

• Experience leading group activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on resident interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation according to quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
