About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Life Enrichment Manager creates personalized Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss. The role fosters purpose, familiarity, connection, and meaningful moments through structured, resident-centered programming tailored to residents’ interests and abilities. The manager supports residents’ engagement and dignity while helping them participate in activities and routines.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to residents’ cognitive abilities.

• Experience leading group activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on residents’ interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation according to quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support resident engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
