About The Position

At Sunrise Senior Living, the Life Enrichment Manager creates personalized Life Skills experiences for residents living with memory loss. The role fosters purpose, familiarity, connection, and meaningful moments through structured, resident-centered programming tailored to residents’ interests, abilities, and cognitive needs. The manager also supports residents’ dignity and engagement by helping them attend programs and activities and by encouraging team members and volunteers to participate.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt activities to residents’ cognitive abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Life Skills based on residents’ interests and abilities.
• Engage residents daily in meaningful, familiar routines.
• Organize small groups and enrichment clubs.
• Review ISPs, Resident Profiles, and demographic information to tailor activities.
• Document participation according to quality standards.
• Maintain Life Skills stations and program supplies.
• Encourage team members and volunteers to support resident engagement.
• Assist residents to and from programs and activities.
