About The Position

The Life Enrichment Coordinator works at The Amberleigh, a Sonida Senior Living retirement community in Williamsville, New York, serving residents in independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role supports residents’ independent recreation and personal choices while providing courteous, respectful interactions with residents, families, staff, and visitors. The coordinator helps ensure residents are free from abuse and attends required in-service education programs. Availability for days and weekends is required. Pay starts at $19 per hour and is based on experience.

• Be a dependable and responsible member of the team.
• Be available to work days and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Interact pleasantly, respectfully, and courteously with residents, families, staff, and other visitors.
• Help ensure residents are free from physical, verbal, and sexual abuse.
• Support residents’ independent recreation based on their individual preferences.
• Ensure residents’ right to make personal choices in agreement with their service plans.
• Attend all in-service education programs mandated by Sonida Senior Living and State and Federal guidelines.
