About The Position
Stellar Senior Living is seeking a reliable, outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant for Pueblo Norte, a senior living community in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role facilitates planned activities for residents in assisted living and memory care, including exercise classes, sing-alongs, brain activities, sports, art classes, and reading. The position requires flexibility, dependability, the ability to work under pressure, and initiative. Part-time and full-time schedules are available.
Requirements
- Be flexible and dependable, work well under pressure, and be a self-starter.
- Hold a Food Handlers Permit.
- Be able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chairs, on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the community’s activity programs.
- Observe residents’ attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement to evaluate activities and resident progress.
- Involve residents and their families in planning activity programs when possible.
- Facilitate planned activities for residents in assisted living and memory care, including exercise classes, sing-alongs, brain activities, sports, art classes, and reading.
