About The Position

The Life Enrichment Assistant helps develop and carry out the Community’s life enrichment programs in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The assistant may be directed by the department director or Executive Director to support residents’ interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. The role advances the value that the resident comes first, treats the Community as the residents’ home, helps create a sense of home, and models person-centered care.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma desired.
• One year of experience in activities programs in a health care setting preferred.
• Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and carrying out the Community’s life enrichment programs.
• Support residents’ interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs as directed by the department director or Executive Director.
• Help create attributes of home and model person-centered care.
• Advance the value that the resident comes first.
