About The Position

Trident Consulting is seeking a Licensing Compliance Specialist for a client in Aliso Viejo, California. The role involves working with state-specific licensing requirements in an environment without an established manual or playbook. The successful candidate will independently develop an approach, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, manage competing requests, and handle sensitive and confidential information professionally. The position requires representing the client appropriately and interacting with people at all levels, including senior executives and C-suite leaders. This is a contract role paying $40 per hour on W-2.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail; thorough, resourceful, and highly organized.
• Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently with little direction or hand-holding.
• Comfort working in ambiguity and developing an approach without a predefined process.
• Highly professional and able to interact with individuals at all levels, including senior executives and C-suite leaders.
• Comfort handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Resourcefulness and comfort navigating requirements that vary by state.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing requests.

Nice To Haves

• Prior paralegal experience may be helpful.
• Experience in a legal, quality, or regulated environment would be beneficial.
• Industry experience is nice to have but not required.
• A college degree is preferred but not required; strong, relevant professional experience may be considered in place of a degree.
