About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide nursing care on a nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The position is listed as full-time day work at Victoria North. Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Have current BLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
