About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides appropriate nursing care on a nursing unit as directed by a Registered Nurse (RN). The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner, in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The position is listed as full-time nights in Victoria Southeast.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
• Current BLS certification; AHA-approved certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
