About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care on a hospital nursing unit under the direction of a registered nurse. The LVN gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures in an age- and population-appropriate manner consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role also performs other related duties as assigned or requested. The posting identifies this as a full-time night position in Victoria Southeast. Requirements
- Current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gather and report data.
- Carry out orders.
