About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. The role gathers and reports data, carries out orders, and performs therapeutic procedures for patients in an age- and population-appropriate manner in accordance with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The LVN also performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

This is a PRN day-shift position in Victoria Southeast. PAM Health describes a collaborative work environment and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in emergency or critical care environments preferred.
• Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, and similar equipment preferred.
• Two years of experience in direct patient care preferred.
