About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for its medical-surgical setting. The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
- IV certification upon hire, where required by state.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care services within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Help maintain patient safety and provide patient comfort and care.
- Contribute to improving the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting.
