About The Position
St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) for its medical-surgical setting. The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the nurse helps maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience.
Requirements
- Current and valid state license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- IV certification upon hire, as required by the applicable state.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care within the scope of practice and in accordance with state requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Help maintain patient safety and provide patient comfort and care.
- Contribute to improving the overall patient experience in the medical-surgical setting.
