About The Position
BrightStar Care of Amarillo is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to deliver skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. This role serves patients in Tulia, Hereford, and surrounding communities within a 30-mile radius. The position offers meaningful patient care with the support of an experienced team.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel between patient visits
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
- Comfortable working independently
Nice To Haves
- Skilled home health experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care based on individualized plans of care
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes as needed
- Provide medications and treatments as ordered
- Reinforce care instructions with patients and families
- Communicate with physicians and other members of the care team
- Maintain accurate visit documentation
