About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide nursing care on a nursing unit under the direction of an RN. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in a manner appropriate to patients’ ages and populations and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. The posting identifies the position as full-time nights at Overland Park Rehab. Requirements
- Hold current LPN/LVN licensure in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Have current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
