About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a part-time night-shift Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for Overland Park Rehab. The LVN provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit, consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Care must be appropriate to the patient’s age and population. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures. Other related duties may be assigned or requested. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services across more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements
- Hold current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Current BLS certification is required; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
