About The Position

PAM Health is hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for its soon-to-open rehabilitation hospital in Katy. The LVN provides appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN on the nursing unit. Care must be appropriate to patients’ age and population and consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role includes gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures, as well as other related duties as assigned or requested. Requirements

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital is located, or compact licensure if the state participates.
Current BLS certification; certification must be AHA-approved within 90 days of employment.
Current IV certification within 90 days of employment, if required by state regulations.

Nice To Haves

One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
