Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Evening Shift

About The Position
The LVN performs under the direction of a Registered Nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. This position is for the Evening Shift, working 3pm to 11pm, 5 shifts per week, with rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Vocational School of Nursing Accredited by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum one (1) year as a /LVN in psychiatric nursing preferred.
- Licensed to practice Vocational nursing from the State Board of Nursing or Psychiatric Technicians.
- Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications.
- CPR certification.
- Successful completion of Handle with Care (HWC) including restraint and seclusion policies and Verbal De-escalation before on the unit orientation and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
