About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within the employee’s scope of practice. The nurse also directs non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. The role is at Riverside CRT, a Crisis Residential Treatment Program providing short-term, structured, non-institutional residential services as an alternative to psychiatric hospitalization for people experiencing an acute mental health crisis. This is a new campus with a tentative opening date of January 4, 2027; staff training begins in December. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The posted pay range is $35 to $40.57 per hour. The final offer depends on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Requirements

Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing.
