About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse provides direction to non-licensed personnel in delivering direct client care and operating the unit.

Crestwood’s program in Vallejo offers a continuum of behavioral health care. Its Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers provide psychosocial rehabilitation in secure residential settings, with a focus on brief stays. Its Residential Care for Elderly supports independence, provides health and wellness programs, manages physical and behavioral problems, and promotes community integration.

This is a part-time position. The listed base pay range is $35–$40.57 per hour; the final offer depends on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Requirements

• Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.
