About The Position
This is a 13-week assignment for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) working nights at $45 per hour. The role involves providing appropriate nursing care under the direction of an RN, including gathering and reporting data, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures on patients. The position is with PAM Health, a specialty healthcare provider with over 80 locations across 17 states, committed to high-quality patient care and customer service.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
- Current BLS certification required (AHA approved within 90 days of employment).
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
Nice To Haves
- Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit.
- Gathering and reporting data.
- Carrying out orders.
- Performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health.
- Performing other related duties as assigned or requested.
