Requirements

  • Holds current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
  • Current BLS certification required
  • BLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment
  • Current IV Certification within 90 days of employment, if required per state regulations

Nice To Haves

  • One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Providing appropriate nursing care, as directed by an RN on the nursing unit
  • Gathering and reporting data
  • Carrying out orders
  • Performing therapeutic procedures on patients in an age and population-appropriate manner, consistent with the policies, procedures, and guidelines of PAM Health
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
