About The Position
BluePearl Pet Hospital in Buffalo, NY is seeking a skilled Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our thriving and collaborative emergency team. This role involves providing excellent, advanced medicine to patients, working alongside skilled technicians and assistants, and mentoring fellow associates. The position focuses on nursing critically ill patients back to health and reuniting them with their pet parents.
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician
- Unrestricted, current authorization to work in the U.S. and not require future sponsorship for an employment-based green card.

Responsibilities
- Triage and obtain patient history
- Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
- Place IVC's and advanced catheters like jugular catheters, central lines or PICC lines.
- Monitor and care for ventilator cases
- Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients.
- Have a passion for helping mentor and and train fellow associates.
- Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
- Perform other relevant roles/responsibilities.
