About The Position

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle, WA is hiring a full- time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team! Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) is looking for friendly and career minded Licensed Veterinary Technicians to join our Internal Medicine Department in providing specialty animal care in Shoreline, WA. Our doctors, support staff and managers all work together to provide the most comprehensive care and customer service for our patients, clients, and the referring veterinary community.

Requirements

Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington.
Has at least 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
Displays competency in the general knowledge and nursing skills required to care for internal medicine patients.
Able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
Can individually and frequently lift patients and inventory up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves

VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing obtaining VTS credentials are encouraged to apply.
Specialty medicine experience is preferred but not required.
Preference will be given to Veterinary Technicians with a strong background in anesthesia.
