About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated technician who excels in both communication and leadership. In this role, you will act as a direct extension of our Internists, working collaboratively to support outstanding patient and client care. You will play an active part in client communication—sharing diagnostic results, discussing procedures as directed by the Internist, and helping guide both short‑ and long‑term patient management. This position also involves coordinating and assisting with a wide range of diagnostic and procedural tasks. An ideal candidate brings a foundational understanding of common Internal Medicine conditions and a strong passion for continued learning and professional growth. You will assist with diagnostic procedures such as (but not limited to): Endoscopy (urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal) Bone marrow sampling Joint taps Feeding tube placements As you develop proficiency, you will also have opportunities for training in advanced interventional radiology procedures, such as: Laser ablation of ectopic ureters Lithotripsy

Requirements

  • Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician
  • Experience with anesthesia
  • Knowledge of disease process and common ailments seen
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate with various departments
  • Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners
  • Positive outlook, ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
  • Commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with endoscopy is preferred but not required.
  • Additional fluency in other languages is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities
