Licensed Therapist (Adults 18-60) | Remote | California License
About The Position
Daybreak Health is a telehealth company providing mental healthcare, including services for adults through its partnership with Kaiser Permanente. The therapist provides individual video therapy to adults ages 18–60 with mild-to-moderate mental health needs. The role is fully remote from anywhere in the U.S., provided the therapist is licensed to practice in California. Therapists set their own schedule within Monday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Pacific Time; weekend work is optional. A minimum of five sessions per week is required, with no maximum. Daybreak matches clients to the therapist’s availability and books initial sessions. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Requirements
- Hold an active California license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP.
- Have experience providing individual therapy to adults.
- Be comfortable with telehealth and have experience delivering it.
- Commit to culturally responsive, equitable care.
- Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based individual therapy by video to adults ages 18–60.
- Build steady, trusting relationships with clients.
- Set availability and schedule sessions within the Monday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Pacific Time scheduling window.
- See at least five sessions per week.
