About The Position

Daybreak Health is seeking a licensed therapist to provide individual video therapy to adults ages 18–60 with mild-to-moderate mental health needs. The role is fully remote and open to clinicians located anywhere in the U.S. who are licensed to practice in California. The therapist sets their own schedule within Monday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Pacific Time; weekend work is optional. Clinicians must provide at least five sessions per week, with no maximum. Daybreak matches clients to clinician availability and books initial sessions. The role is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is $75–$95 per session, with guaranteed pay for no-shows and late cancellations. Support includes an onboarding stipend, paid clinical consultation, malpractice insurance, and free continuing education credits year-round.

Requirements

Active California license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP.
Experience providing individual therapy to adults.
Comfort with telehealth and experience delivering therapy through telehealth.
Commitment to culturally responsive, equitable care.
Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.

Responsibilities

Build steady, trusting relationships with clients.
