Licensed Therapist (Adults 18-60) | Remote | California License
About The Position
Daybreak Health is seeking a licensed therapist to provide individual teletherapy to adults ages 18–60 with mild-to-moderate mental health needs. The position is fully remote and open to clinicians anywhere in the U.S. who are licensed to practice in California. Daybreak Health partners with Kaiser Permanente to provide mental healthcare access for adults. Therapists set their own schedules within Monday–Sunday, 8 a.m.–8 p.m. Pacific Time; weekend work is optional. Clinicians must see at least five sessions per week, with no maximum. Daybreak Health matches clients to clinicians’ availability and books initial sessions. The role is offered as a 1099 independent contractor position, with compensation of $75–$95 per session.
Requirements
- An active California license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP.
- Experience providing individual therapy to adults.
- Comfort with telehealth and experience delivering telehealth.
- Commitment to culturally responsive, equitable care.
- Associate and provisionally licensed clinicians are not eligible.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based individual therapy by video to adults ages 18–60.
- Build steady, trusting relationships with clients.
- See a minimum of five sessions per week; there is no cap.
- Set availability and schedule sessions within the stated operating hours.
