About The Position

Planned Companies’ Planned Security Services division is hiring a friendly and professional Private Security Guard to support residential and commercial properties. The role provides a visible security presence through routine property patrols and safety checks, access control, surveillance monitoring, alarm response, and assistance to residents, guests, and vendors.

This is a part-time overnight position scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The stated pay rate is $20. The position requires a DCJS registration license and a valid, clear motor vehicle record.

Requirements

• Hold a Security Officer Registration license (DCJS required).
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean, valid motor vehicle record.
• Have at least 2 years of experience as a Security Officer or Guard.
• Know local, regional, and state legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Have excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Have experience with closed-circuit television (CCTV) surveillance systems.
• Have training in First Aid, Basic Life Saving (BLS), and self-defense.
• Have strong report-writing skills and clear verbal communication skills.
• Have a high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine security and safety patrols of property and structures to maintain order and establish a security presence.
• Verify and track access credentials for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries.
• Ensure exits, doors, and windows are secure and functioning.
• Monitor and track CCTV surveillance cameras to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to, investigate, and assess notifications, communications, and alarms.
• Provide security-related assistance and support to residents, guests, and vendors in need.
• Report uninvited guests, suspicious possessions, and unlawful acts to the proper authorities.
• Create and submit daily surveillance and incident reports to Planned Security Services management.
