About The Position
Maintain a safe environment by monitoring activity, assisting visitors, and responding to incidents. The role involves controlling entrances and traffic, patrolling buildings and surrounding areas, escorting personnel and materials, inspecting security and fire exposures, completing daily activity and incident reports, responding to alarms and emergencies, and communicating daily with supervisors. The ideal candidate is vigilant, disciplined, observant, professional, calm under stress, reliable, customer-service oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3–6 months of security or life-safety experience
- State Guard license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks
- Vigilance, discipline, and observational skills
- Clear and professional communication
- Ability to stay calm and focused in stressful situations
- Reliability and customer-service orientation
- Ability to adapt to changing environments
- Ability to handle multiple priorities
