About The Position

We are seeking Licensed Respiratory Therapists (RRT or CRT) for positions at several locations throughout Central and Southern Illinois. The role involves caring for patients requiring specialized respiratory support, including ventilator and tracheostomy care.

Requirements

• Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute settings.
• Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent and tracheostomy patients.
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway clearance procedures.
• Perform suctioning, ventilator monitoring, and respiratory assessments.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments according to physician orders.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
