About The Position

Responsible for the safe and effective administration of medically prescribed respiratory care using a variety of equipment and techniques. Provides care for patients from newborn to elderly, adapting care to individual needs, including impairments or variations involving hearing, sight, language, culture, and potential abuse. Care is provided in accordance with Respiratory Care policies and procedures, with treatment customized when appropriate.

Requirements

Completion of a CoARC-approved respiratory care program.
Current Massachusetts respiratory therapist license.
CRT and RRT credentials are preferred.
BLS certification.
NRP certification.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in airway management, mechanical ventilation, bronchial hygiene, and oxygen therapy.
Ability to communicate effectively with all age levels served within the scope of the position and assigned areas.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat to workplace health and safety, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor's degree.
