Requirements

  • Possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
  • Be able to perform essential job functions.
  • Pass a background investigation.
  • Pass a medical examination and a drug screening.
  • Submit and approve satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assess individuals through medical and social case record reviews, interviews, and observations
  • Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests to diagnose needs and guide treatment
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Use various psychological techniques to support therapy and behavior modification to treat disorders
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss progress and coordinate care
  • Prepare reports and maintain treatment records consistent with clinical standards
