Requirements

Must be in possession of a valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Must obtain and maintain valid CRNP Prescriptive Authority Approval to prescribe and dispense drugs as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
A conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide evaluations, examinations, and follow-up care for assigned individuals
Observe individuals, review conditions, and document findings during regular rounds
Order required studies and maintain detailed documentation in medical records
Make direct contact with families or guardians during important medical events
Meet with team members to discuss psychotropic medications and overall care needs
Maintain knowledge of Medical Assistance and community standards and apply them in daily work
