Requirements
- Possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology
- Be able to perform essential job functions
- Pass a background investigation
- Submit to and pass a medical examination and drug screening
- Submit satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance
Responsibilities
- Represent psychological services on treatment teams and guide the development of treatment goals and plans
- Provide psychotherapy using approaches suited to each person’s needs and functional level
- Create and conduct remotivation and cognitive remediation programs in collaboration with other disciplines
- Perform patient risk assessments and develop crisis plans using approved methods
- Document evaluations, therapy progress, and assessments in accordance with hospital and Medicare requirements
