Requirements
- Must be able to perform essential job functions.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Clean living units, offices, hallways, and other areas across the hospital campus
- Deliver, sort, and prepare linens and clothing for use throughout the facility
- Operate custodial equipment safely and report needed repairs
- Handle urgent cleaning needs such as spills, flooding, or isolation procedures
- Assist with snow shoveling, walkway cleaning, and maintaining building entrances
- Replace light bulbs and assist with moving furniture and larger items when needed
