About The Position
Central State Hospital is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to provide therapy to patients experiencing an acute episode of mental illness. The psychologist will participate in a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient. Responsibilities include performing and supervising initial assessments, psychological testing, and forensic testing as needed. The role also involves serving as an expert witness regarding the need for further inpatient hospitalization.
Requirements
- Licensed Psychologist
Nice To Haves
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology.
- Licensed by the Kentucky Board of Psychology.
